Can you recommend me 55inch smart 4k tv under 1000$?
I don’t wanna be watching tv..
When a asteroid impact with earth name it. I pay taxes for astronomers to keep a look out.
Ok so I need opinions on OLED or QLED. I’m planning on buying a Sony one ideally (although open to other brands) for when the PS5 comes out with HDMI 2.1 support as I’ve read they are generally the best quality. Here is my current situation/usage:
1. Live in a north-west facing flat in the UK so it’s not that bright (I’ve heard that OLED’s aren’t great in bright light).
2. Weekdays use it a for about 1-2 hours gaming. Usually a mix of Call of Duty and a story mode game like God of War, so some fixed HUDs (such as COD) but then each match lasts 10 minutes before going back to the menu, so not a constant still image. Then a couple of hours on streaming Youtube/watching documentaries.
3. Weekends use it about 7/8 hours a day with about 3 hours on games, again mixing up the game every hour or so.
From what I’ve read I probabaly wouldn’t be at too much risk of getting burn in on an OLED because most of the use doesn’t have fixed images and even when I do play games, I mix them up regularly. Thoughts?
What happened to Android tv’s? It’s like it disappeared completely! 😮
This is so confusing. There is HD, HD 10, ULTRA HD, 4K, 8K, HDR AND HDR +…so I have to ask. WTF!
This popped up on my recommendations and I clicked on it because why not. Why am I still here?
But what he dosnt tell you and I’m not blaming him is that every 4k panel is NOT GHE SAME. Vizio has HDR 10. I would go vizio they have all formats included even in there lowest models.
Most are people that just want to be on You Tube. Babbling beyond making any real sense to the average buyer.
So basically, Sony A9G is the best TV of the decade.
75 inches and more is what separates the men from the boys.
Tv companies need to start naming their TVs like apple products. iPhone 1,2,3,4 ect
Im still watching my Panasonic plasma that I bought in 2010, no complaints on my side. Just checking out the new ones on the market that’s all.
Size matter !🤣
I’m leaning toward the tlc 6 series or the samsung premium uhd series. Both are very good for affordable prices for what I’m reading.
for 10 years I’ve had a 2008 Walmart 50 inch with my computer hooked to it getting 5 mbps download speed, watching mostly youtube in 360p, and a few ddays ago finally got rid of AT&T and got Grande with 300 mbps download speed, and I have finally been able to wathc videos in 1080p. I’m still in shock so I don’t know if I could handle 4K right now, it would probably drive me over the edge.
Only 4k it’s 8k time lol Happy New year.
The thing with HDR you need to make sure the TV can really handle it . I purchased a Hisense 43 which supposed to support HDR but using HDR ruins the viewing experience because it can’t handle it very well.
The catch is that NONE of these technologies are future-proof. The next evolutionary step is EXTREME contrast. With 1000-10000 nits on the table, LG is set to ditch OLED tech because it just can’t reach those numbers and also the cost to produce the screens hasn’t come down enough to be profitable. So OLED will soon go the way of Plasma.
Backlit LED can reach that brightness level, but would look pretty bad at those levels. MicroLED solves this problem, but not much (if anything) is available for purchase yet. Some displays are set to roll out at the end of 2020, but will be very expensive at first.
Anyone who’s sitting on the fence now and could afford to wait, should wait until 2022/2023, when the tech has had time to evolve and come down in price. Although OLED is the best tech right now, you might regret the purchase in a couple years when the organic materials aren’t as good as they initially were, and the new brighter screens on display Costco have seared higher expectations into your corneas (maybe literally, because 2000+ nits is bright!)
By far the best video explaining 4K,thank you.
I want extra-Keanu. Thanks
It’s probably best to wait for the 2020 sets at this point, many of them will have HDMI 2.1.
Also, LG and Sony will have 120hz BFI on their OLEDS, and LG and Panasonic will have Dolby Vision IQ and filmmaker mode on their sets. Also, LG will have freesync support and 4k 120hz on HDMI 2.0 on the LG CX and BX. LG and Sony will also have 48" OLEDs which should be cheaper and better suited to be used as a PC monitor.
The background music is very annoying and very unprofessional, it distracts you from listening. If you remove it and repost the video you will get more likes.
Upgraded my 2 year old 55" X900E to a Panasonic GZ1000 OLED and it’s amazing how much better it looks. I thought the X900E was the pinnacle of picture quality, but oh boy was I wrong. I can’t even stand looking at any LED tv now.

dont buy a hisence worst tv ever made. SAMSUNG IS THE WAY TO GO for under $1000 aud
OLED all the way, so glad I changed my QLED out. Awesome picture quality and perfect viewing angles. Everybody asks me why my TV looks so sharp and crisp !! hahah. I’ll be on OLED till MicroLED has matured for sure!
What’s up with the Hitler stash
Best value 4K is going to be with TCL
Led or a Qled? Is it worth to buy a Qled?
Really? No Samsung? How can you omit the biggest smart tv maker in the world?
@ 4:50… LMAO who edited this video?!?!? I’m triggered and I never get triggered!!!!! My insides tickle I’m laughing so hard!
HeY Bro!I am using Samsung 55" ES8000 since 2013.I wish to buy a new 65"4K UHD TV within a budget.Which one would you suggest?TCL,Hisence,Sony or Samsung NU7100?Also is there a 4K TV without Android etc.?I watch Cable and movies downloaded from YiFi torrent
I heard that Sony, Panasonic, and others do use the LG or Samsung OLED panel?
Right now thinking on buying LG 4K 55 TV. For me when I choose with other brands was if it has all the apps I want.
YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon was a must for me. Just a couple of month ago in Japan LG did not have Hulu so I was looking into other brands but since now they have
it I will go with LG. Not many brands have all 4 I wanted.
0:35 "…even if you’re sitting up close, it’s impossible to see each pixel", but shows blurry picture of screen/sharp picture of bezel.
1:25 During the HDR segment, shows washed out, almost monochrome scenes.
How good is the new series from Philips called the one especially the 65" called 7304?
The oleds will burn in, in a year or so often.
You haven’t taught me anything. I would never but a television at such elaborate prices. I would settle for a 43 or 49 inch due to my small space.
Still rocking my trinitron circa 1978
I’m going from a 40" to a 65" tv.
Why isn’t anyone talking about Phillips oled tvs? From what i read they’re right up there with Lgs and Sonys and Panasonics
I bought a 55 inch Samsung NU6900 because my budget doesn’t stretch further like Mattress Firm.
Are people really buying a 4K TV for super competitive gaming? No. They are going for super high refresh rate 1080p monitors haha
Step 1: Go to the store
why no mention of the TCL range?
Still use my Sony Bravia 32′ 720p
I don’t what to buy for gaming. Just had free upgrade on PS4 pro and still have a Sony kdl42w706b full HD , I want a 55 and I don’t know if I should wait or not for ps5 supports
